How I approach this list
This overview is deliberately neutral and grows over time. It isn’t meant to be a ranking or to advertise any brand, but to give orientation on which providers even exist in the field of blood-sugar-aware nutrition. Any later assessment follows the same transparent criteria, so that brands stay comparable and aren’t sorted by sympathy or advertising budget.
What I look at in a product
- Ingredients list: short and understandable, or a long list of additives?
- Sweetener: which type is included, and in what amount?
- Nutrition per 100 g: above all sugar and usable carbohydrates.
- Fibre: how much is there per portion?
These criteria say nothing about “good” or “bad” – they only help to place a product yourself, instead of relying on packaging promises. Where possible, I check concrete blood-sugar effects against my own CGM data and clearly mark them as single-case observations.
Key takeaways
- A growing, neutral overview – not a ranking and not advertising.
- Placed by transparent, repeatable criteria so brands stay comparable.
- I look at: ingredients list, sweetener type, nutrition per 100 g, fibre.
- Concrete blood-sugar effects, where checked, come from my own CGM data (n=1).
